DrMresearch In 1997 and 1998 Dr. Miskovich and his colleague Frank Tolaro, M.D., participated in a clinical research study examining the effects of the non-surgical VAX-D therapy in reduction of sensory nerve dysfunction in patients with low back pain and radiculopathy.

In this study Drs. Miskovich and Tolaro demonstrated that up to 64% of patients showing abnormal dysfunction secondary to a compressive radiculopathy returned to normal function after a therapeutic course of VAX-D®.

The results of this clinical study were published in the Canadian Journal of Clinical Medicine, in 1999:

Tilaro F, Miskovich D. The Effects of Vertebral Axial Decompression in Sensory Nerve Dysfunction in Patients with Low Back Pain and Radiculopathy. Canadian Journal of Clinical Medicine Vol.6, No. 1, January 1999.
